We took off in the morning on 6th July 2019. This drive was primarily focused to provide umbrellas to the students from Raigad Zill Parishad Prathamik Shala in Karjat.
Having interacted with the students several times over the last few months, they were anxiously waiting for us and were peeping out of their classrooms to see us as we arrived. When we entered, their eyes were fixated on the boxes we had got for them, waiting to find out what we had brought for them. The teachers and the students then assembled in a classroom and warmly welcomed us by singing two lovely songs in their mother tongue, Marathi. It was a heartening feeling seeing how little things like umbrellas brought them so much joy. We also handed them a few chocolates. This whole experience itself was extremely enriching like the previous ones and made us further feel grateful for all our blessings. We look forward to many such drives!
